Returning from four day backpack trip camping Roundtop Lake photographing subalpine wildflowers 9/12/06. Due to the record snow fall in the Sierra Mountains that year the wildflowers were blooming 3 - 4 weeks late, so wildflowers were still very abundant in early September.

At the start of the trip Rob's was carrying 85 pounds of camera equipment, natural light studio equipment an clothing. Nita's pack and camera weighed 65 pounds. On the way down we had less food to carry out.
