Portraits from the series: "In the Soup: the People of St Vincent's Dining Hall," San Rafael CA This series of portraits of diners, volunteers and staff had a profound affect on both the diners and the general public in different but positive ways. It created a great sense of pride which had been missing for many of the diners. It changed the image people had of the hungry in Marin County to a point where people who had been adversaries of the dining hall became supporters. I will add more images as they are scanned.
