Field of Wildflowers. A rare "50 Year Bloom" of native wildflowers, including Lupine, California Poppies, Fiddleneck, Bigelow Coreopsis, on a hillside near the town of Gorman in the Peace Valley, in the Tehachapi Mountains (part of the Coast Ranges), California. This area is only an hour's drive north of Los Angeles on Interstate 5. The entire floral display was a mile wide and 1,000 feet high. It is adjacent to the 200,000 acre Tejon Ranch Conservancy.
